We are seeking a Marketing Analytics Manager to work from our New York headquarters. You will be tasked with implementing research projects to identify and solve business issues, both strategic and tactical. You will also provide high quality data analysis and campaign management functions for the B2C business. Projects include creation of marketing campaigns, tracking of response and sales data, model development, and ad hoc analysis/organization of various information sources. Your goal is to create a competitive advantage for LivePerson by delivering actionable and insightful models that increase acquisition of new clients and lifetime value, a direct and immediate impact on our business.

What would you own?
- Actively design and implement predictive models and analyses that drive new subscriber acquisition channels. Understanding the business in depth and partnering directly with channel owners will be key to success.
- Explore trends in the business using various data mining techniques to create actionable insight, both proactively and in response to channel owners' requests.
- Conceptualize and champion tests geared toward continually improving business results. New ideas will come in from everywhere, but ultimately, you'd be responsible for recognizing the good ideas and turning them into actionable models.
- Propose and lead innovative mathematical approaches to solving complex business problems, utilizing available research.
How would you help others?
- Proactively identify new trends and/or opportunities to use predictive modeling and statistics to drive business value throughout marketing and the company. Though you'd be focused on new subscriber acquisition, actionable insights that impact any core part of the business are welcome.
- Provide segmentation analysis and list pulls for campaigns.
- Manage data migration, addition and enhancement projects as it pertains to the marketing data warehouse.
- Collaborate extensively with stakeholders to ensure that solutions meet business needs, permit valid inferences, and functionality can be implemented.
What you need to bring?
- 3-5 yrs in a database marketing environment or as a business analyst in a systems environment; B2C experience required, eCommerce preferred
- Experience with web analytics & Omniture or comparable web analytic tools; know how to access a MSSQL DWH directly using SQL
- Strong PC skills with advanced Microsoft Access and Excel knowledge
- Analytical orientation and strong problem solving skills
- Ability to prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to synthesize information to key takeaways to communicate with senior management
- Experience using college level statistics in a web environment (SAS plus)
- An understanding of ETL process
- Multivariate testing (Test & Target specifically a plus)
